10 Days After

Earlier last week (and by earlier, I mean around 1:00-2:00 in the morning), I told myself that there was something I was going to do. I set my mind to do it already, despite the actions that can stem from it. Heck, I even wrote a list of pros and cons. Yep, that’s how bored I was…bored or desperate. (but aren’t those virtually the same, anyway?)

So even though I had promised myself that I would, now, I’ve been having second thoughts. Coz I’m a coward. I’m afraid. I’m nervous. Maybe because I’ve seen the negative things that it can bring. I’ve seen it in action, I even have my own theories about it. But I still want to. It’s hard to be indecisive. Sometimes, I don’t want to even think of the consequences. Just go with it. No day but today. I just hope I can overcome this fear.

Speaking of FEAR, it’s that Halloween time of the season yet again. Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays. It’s a time to get out and have fun. Time to put on a costume and pretend you are things that you really aren’t: like zombies, or kings, or movie stars. Great right?! I know.

Last Wednesday, Nestle had a Halloween party for GK kids and the kids of the employees, and a decorate-your-floor contest for the kids at heart. Our floor got the TOY STORY theme. I came as (B)Etch-A-Sketch. I could talk about it and waste my time, or I could just show you a bunch of pictures!

Also, they gave us 2 bags of Kit-Kat Bites and Milo Nuggets. Yum!

My brother turned 17 last October 30. It was a long day. Too bad it was also Petot’s and JP’s last day. : (.

We went to Petot’s house to celebrate. Soms for dinner then drinking with nestle interns. Too bad I had to leave early. Storm’s a brewin’. Also suffered a storm at home. K Long story.

On the night of Halloween, my family and I went out to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Our deal was to go in costume. So we ate in Zong while wearing costumes. Ofcourse, my brother was wearing his Halloween09 costume: Captain Jack Sparrow.

My sister came as someone from the wondergirls.

My mother as a devil. (why is she exempt from a costume? Haha I’m kidding mom.)

My dad as…a civilian(?) He didn’t have a costume. Boring.

And me? Well.

I came as a Yellow Cab pizza delivery guy who was attacked by zombies and was turned into one. Of course, I get a back story!

To celebrate Halloween, my brother and I re-watched Supernatural Season 2. It’s weird how we don’t remember some of the episodes. It’s also great how season 2 is really the barrel of info that they used for season 5 twists and episodes. It just goes to show that the show has great synergy and consistency.

Supernatural is a story about two brothers who try to save people by hunting supernatural creatures, like ghosts, vampires, and even demons! Most of the stories are based on real ghosts, real hauntings, real places, so the creepy vibe is still there. No worries for the weak-at-heart though. The horror is complemented with great humor, sexual innuendos and much much more. Yes. I am a geek.

And yes,  three books contain characters from League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I plan on reading all the books that the characters came from. However, I’ve yet to buy the others.

Problem is, since I’ve had a taste of my salary, I’ve been buying a bunch of books. Books that I want to read first…: | Self control, come on!

Speaking of lists, I still have to do my birthday resolution list. Aw, crap.
